The beauty of Olympic Peninsula, from cities to mountains, forests to ocean are unquestionably among the very best of Washington State. In the spring of 2021 we spent a few days capturing the spirit of this amazing country, which in the late 1880s was dubbed “Tera Incognito” for its vast, unexplored tracks of land, which had yet to be fully explored. Today, while much has changed, the heart of this region is still a vast wilderness, some 1442 square miles–while the salty shores contain the longest protected wilderness coast, some 73 miles, between Canada and the Mexican border. The photos above are just a tiny peak into what this amazing corner of the states has in store.
