In Washington State there are 10 non-volcanic peaks that are over 9000 feet tall. Splitboarder Kyle Miller and I set out to climb and ski each of them, many of which had not been skied before. Our goal, since not all the peaks are skiable from the very top, was to ski from as near to their summits as we possibly could.
By the project’s completion we had pioneered 5 new steep ski descents and completed one new climbing route.
Our list of peaks included:
*pioneered steep ski descents
